Bring a question worth answering

We welcome explainers, practical tutorials, original research and considered analysis. A useful pitch starts with a specific reader question and explains what fresh evidence or experience the writer can contribute.

Pitch before drafting

Send a working title, a short outline, the intended primary topic, your proposed sources and relevant writing samples. Identify any original data and how it was collected.

Make the evidence visible

Use traceable primary sources. Document tests, dates and limitations for product assessments. Disclose material AI assistance and check every generated claim. Do not submit fabricated results, plagiarised text or undisclosed promotional work.

Disclose affiliations

Tell us about employment, investments, clients, sponsorships and other relationships relevant to the subject. A contributor’s interests should be clear to editors and readers.

Links serve the story

Relevant citations and an appropriate author website may be included at editorial discretion. Publication does not guarantee a backlink, a particular anchor or a link attribute. We do not sell ranking links or require reciprocal links.

Agree the terms first

Acceptance, compensation, rights and timing are agreed individually before work begins. A pitch is not a publication commitment.
